The Future is Held Within the Heart of a Woman.
Happy New Moon everyone! If you’re tapped into astrology at all, you know this is the moment our world has been preparing for — this month marks a collective shift in energy, the moment the Fire Horse leaves the gate ❤️🔥 - wild, willful, unrestrained, passionate, freedom-embracing, expansion-inducing - stretching and challenging us to stay in the saddle, to locate our inner strength and meet this moment.
Recently I asked my guide in spirit, if we had just ONE action item to take initiative on as human beings - one action that would serve as resistance to the darkness we see in the world, one action that might have an outsized positive impact on our collective evolution - what would it be??
Spirit replied in an instant: "Women must learn to love themselves again."
The answer surprised me, not least of all by its immediacy… its seeming simplicity. Could that really be the one-very-most-important thing in a world on fire?? But as I've allowed it to sink in more deeply - as I allow myself to feel it all-the-way-through - I see how that seemingly simple act and evolution changes everything… how it underlies and underpins the foundation of our societal transformation.
When a woman remembers to truly love herself everything changes - it's as if her life becomes divided between the time before, and the time after.
The time, energy and passion once spent laboring for worthiness and value - performing for validation and approval - is reclaimed and harnessed toward her own vision and dreams.
The endless seeking outside herself for definition, identity and instruction gives way to instinct, self-guidance and innate knowing.
She re-discovers that a sacred home of innate love, peace, connection & safety has - from her very first breath - always existed within her own heart.
She meets those who stand to meet her: she stops fixing & mothering grown adults, sets boundaries on access to her energy, drops thankless over-giving, ceases codependent enabling, and stops carrying the weight of other people’s responsibilities on her shoulders.
The waiting for permission - the waiting to be chosen or approved of - dissolves with the recognition the story of her life begins and ends entirely within her.
The old familiar hooks (guilt, shame, comparison, conditioned obligation) lose their ability to manipulate, control or hold power over her.
She steps into greater authority & authorship of her reality, takes credit for her accomplishments, and no longer collapses in the face of criticism.
Her fears give way to self-trust, her confidence in her own capability & capacity grows, and she can hold more creation, develop greater abundance, externally direct expanding resources, and step into the full faith and leadership of her life.
Why does a woman truly loving herself change everything?? Because when a woman truly loves herself, that love pours forth out upon the external world in waves with a power beyond force.
It is the greatest medicine of this moment - the key that unlocks the wheel of time and reawakens long-dormant codes held within the bodies of women - being reborn today.
As we’ve been quietly gathering momentum toward this moment, I can see clearly now how so many women in my life - colleagues, clients, friends, loved ones - have been spiritually forged and molded through fire in recent years… summoning us all into our healing, our greater maturity. Personal passages and tests of faith that included unimaginable losses, traversing enormous caverns of grief, facing our greatest fears and climbing (sometimes crawling) through portals of physical health collapse, emotional destabilization, doubt and confusion… all so that we may heal a lineage of women who never learned to love themselves, and become the heroine of our own lives.
…it was all an Apprenticeship. All in Preparation. For Right Now.
For before a woman can hold greater power, greater resources, greater leadership in service to the collective, she must learn to love herself first. Once she taps into that connection it becomes the sustaining, living force and foundation for all future creation. It is the greatest form of resistance we possess — as a woman who loves herself doesn’t fight for survival against the existing paradigm, she simply outgrows it.
