Can I confide a little secret with you today? When I field intake calls, listen to new clients or meet strangers out in the world, they don’t ask me about ayahuasca journeys or mystical experiences. They don’t ask me what Congress is doing about psychedelic law, about the latest academic research, or the mechanism of the default mode network. Their goal isn’t to biohack their way into living forever, lick toads or attain nirvana.
They’re a single parent struggling to do their best for their kids and wondering if practice could help ease their anxiety and regulate their nervous system. They’re wondering if what they’re going through is perimenopause or an autoimmune disorder and if microdosing can help? If mushrooms can help their chronic pain. If microdosing can support their fear around an unexpected cancer diagnosis. Support tapering off their prescription drugs before they have to drop their insurance later this year due to soaring premiums.
A parent whose teen is struggling with severe mental health challenges inquires if microdosing could help the family cope. How about signs of early on-set dementia? Our remarkable diversity is a strength - in age, geography, background; many of us today serve people that are moving through the very things we have healed from in our own lives. We have very eclectic backgrounds in terms of our training and education - including psychotherapists, astrologers, functional medicine practitioners, prescribers, nurses, breathwork facilitators, journey facilitators, and so many more - making the support we can collectively offer both unique & robust.
We are 100% Community-Backed — In other words, we have no bankers, investors, or corporate sponsors, allowing us to center the real-world needs of our clients, each other and the work itself. The investment you make in us supports a global eco-system of healing and directly supports the guides, cultivators and medicine makers directly serving our communities. We’re not particularly interested in scaling, metrics or volume or creating an app or a chatbot - we are interested in rich authenticity, nuance, human depth and care, personalization and individuality, and growing sustainably at the speed of nature.
