What I’m Investing in This Summer

Happy Summer Solstice to everyone here in the Northern Hemisphere! Sending lots of love to the awesome Dad’s out there on this Father’s Day… and big hugs to everyone who has lost their father, or has big, jagged, complex or tender emotions around this day.

I’ve had a few colleagues + clients reach out for support this week for helping guide them where to best place their time, energy, focus, attention and resources right now…. And I’ve spent many hours in contemplation and communication with spirit toward the same end lately. I think everyone is feeling big change is afoot, and it’s natural to feel confused about next steps and directions.

The human world feels very loud lately - with lots of seemingly confident voices telling us all what to do and how to be. It’s more than a little overwhelming, especially if you’re a sensitive & open sort (i.e. everyone reading this 😅.) In a moment where we can all sense more impending destabilization ahead, it can be tantalizing to fall under the spell of promised certainty - the sure-shot of a ‘patented framework’ - even if we know in our bones that is the language of a dying age.

I’ve also learned over time that we need to move for things to move in our lives! It is our actions and energy that give spirit and fate something to entrain to, but how do we know where to move and what to invest ourselves in when the overwhelm puts us into a freeze state??

In case it’s helpful, I wanted to share the ten things I’m personally investing in (or not) this summer.

1 - I’m investing mightily in highly specific skills + learning that will expand, enhance and make me more valuable professionally in the FUTURE AGE we’re entering. Every year I invest about 10-15% of my annual income on professional development - a new certification/training, a business coach, and/or strategic mentor. This is for two reasons: One, it speaks to the universe and puts down an energetic claim and marker that I am investing significantly in my expansion and doing my part. As I grow, the investment grows. I’ve done this intentionally every year since 2020, and my returns have reliably catapulted me into a new level of expansion. And every single year it is initially scary and uncomfortable and I resist it. But I have learned to trust that I need to move first, put the marker down first. Second, all the professional investment I make in myself also pours directly into all the participants in my trainings and professional programs, as everything I learn I share with them - as I grow and get stronger, they grow and get stronger as well. INVEST IN HIGHLY SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR THE FUTURE.

2 - With Chiron entering Taurus, I’m investing heavily this summer in my physical health and body and the daily routines that support it. Investing in my metabolic and energetic health - getting lots of sunshine, fresh pure drinking water, a vibrant living foods diet, tons of bodywork & energy healing, frequency and biofield tuning, early bedtimes and sweet, delicious rest. During our upcoming Projector Frequency Immersion, I’m also going to be cleansing my body with an emphasis on releasing impurities, densities and parasites while working with San Pedro (Huachuma) to create a loving, steady field of frame and structure. As a Mental Projector and Guide, my body is a channel, and the more clear, coherent and pure it is the more spirit and truth can move and be expressed through it. INVEST IN YOUR PHYSICAL VESSEL & SOUL’S HOME.

3 - I’m investing in the people, groups, communities and activities that strengthen me and feel reciprocal. I’ve been hosting my podcast for three years now and I’m always still surprised at how few people I interview ever ask about my work in return, how many show back up in my inbox weeks and months later only to ask for more support without offering anything in return. One of the most wonderful and affirming experiences of creating the Projector Empowerment Summit this past March was the felt experience of nine individuals who naturally understood how to partner, to operate in natural, unforced and uncontrived reciprocity. In that experience, I invited nine Projector Guides to speak - many of whom are among the top of their field, who might have been entitled, demanding, or competitive with one another. They were none of those things. Instead, without my even asking, they shared, supported, lent their voice generously, were curious about one another and showed up fully… more than fully, actually, with such generosity and acknowledgement of my efforts to elevate everyone as powerful individuals while raising awareness of all as a collective field.

People who operate with this frequency of partnership are rare, and they are magnetic. This summer I’m investing more in those people and places that operate with a natural give & take that comes naturally, who see life as an interdependent circle and contribute as much as they are given. INVEST IN PARTNERSHIP FREQUENCY.

4 - On a practical note (5 line, here!) I am pre-paying for essential things that I know are going to get more expensive with inflation in the coming years and declining to pre-pay for those things that will drop precipitously in value with the rise of AI. This will mean different things to different people depending on what you’re up to in life, but for example I prepaid for all maintenance on my car through 2030 because I know all the parts are going to get way more expensive in the next five years. I am not pre-paying for software, because I know - thanks to AI - many of the existing software subsciptions are going to be pennies on the dollar and obselete soon.

Now, there is no reason to rush to horde toilet paper again, but if you take a long view and know inflation is likely to increase… ask, what are the essential things in my life that are definitely going to get more expensive, and is there anything I can prepay now that will likely save thousands later? If software or subscription companies are pushing you hard to “lock you in” to long-term contracts, be aware - for many - it’s because AI will soon replace many of them and/or make those same services far less expensive. INVEST STRATEGICALLY IN ESSENTIALS AND ESSENTIALS STRATEGICALLY.

5 - If you’re on social media and mainstream news feeds, then you know there is such a desperate, frantic-feeling theme going of MORE, MORE, MORE - sell more! Scale more! 90 Days to 100K! It’s a little overwhelming and a lot exhausting…. As a countercurrent & antidote, I’m investing in the SLOW + SUSTAINABLE. The long-term. The eco-system. The quiet, steady, daily habits of listening-creating, listening-creating. Right now it feels like swimming against the tide in so many ways, but if you’re here to guide the future (and if you’re reading this you likely are) then know the future’s “manifestion” is very different than what we have known. We’re in the final extinction burst of the frantic chasing of endless accumulation — let it pass, watch it like a parade, and begin to take small daily actions instead that plant seeds of quiet, steady foundations that anticipate the future.

Invest in slowing down, becoming more simple, more elegant, more streamlined, thoughtful, deliberate, and more HUMAN.

We humans have a funny way of taking technology designed to help us become more efficient and accessible and instead glamorizing the technology itself, complicating the experience, and implementing it in such a way that it actually takes people further away from what it is they seek: genuine, authentic human support and care. INVEST IN SIMPLICITY.

6 - In February of 2025, I saw the writing on the wall: Private Prisons were about to go gangbusters in terms of their valuations and stocks. All it took was a few minutes of research to turn up which were the top three private prison companies to donate to Trump’s election and know those companies were going to experience windfalls in government contracts and tax-payer funded awards. Investing in those companies forecasted easy money….

But, no thanks.

Why?? Because any profit from that investment would be poisonous. The worst kind of karma. Steeped in the most malignant of energy. What we invest in matters, and in the 5D spirit realm we cannot separate energy the way we like to pretend we can in the 3D human realm.

Spirit sees ALL. And profit made on the back of intentional cruelty, inflicting suffering and fomenting fear, appealing to the worst impulses of mankind, carries an energy I want no part of, energy I will go out of my way to protect what I create and build from entangling with. No amount of charity on the back-end repairs maleficence on the front end.

This summer I am only investing in Goodness. Good people. Good organizations. Even if it costs a little more, or even if it means I’m (often) leaving a lot of money on the table.

Money is energy, and we enliven who and what we invest it in. For so many years, humans have been willing to look away from the character, morals or actions of a person if they could justify their support by their own self-interest. As we evolve as humans and expand in our awareness & consciousness, we will re-discover and remember: there is no separation. Energy is energy, and we have free will and choice as to who and what we choose to invest in and amplify. This summer, I am divesting from misalignment and doubling down on INVESTING IN GOODNESS & PEOPLE WORTHY OF AMPLIFICATION.

7 - With so much societal focus on getting more of, well, everything lately, I’m saying extra prayers of gratitude this summer for everything that I presently leverage, everything in my life that offers sustenance and support… the things that I so consistently and reliably draw from they are easy to disappear in my blind spots.

We all have people, gifts, talents, privilege and unique things in our lives that we leverage - give thanks + tribute!

I leverage Nature in my work and livelihood every single day — if it were not for the gifts from Earth, I would not be as healed today, I would not have the capacity I hold today, I would not have the work and community and colleagues I love today. I owe Nature everything - more than I could ever repay - but I can give tribute by acknowledging her and loving her domain: her plants, animals and fungi.

When I bought my home last year, I invested in plants and trees and flowers before furniture and cutlery, and while it looked a little ridiculous and. backward for the first few months, I wanted to offer tribute to Nature first… If Nature is happy, then all her creatures are happy, and the frequency of my home is vibrant, happy and full of life — my own personal happiness and professional expansion rests on the thriving of the Natural World around me. HONOR WHAT SUSTAINS YOU, INVEST IN WHAT INVESTS IN YOU, and witness you both blossom.

8 - I heard Kate Northrup mention the term Relational Equity on her podcast recently, and it put a term on something I’ve long felt but couldn’t name in professional life. Most people are conditioned to be transactional, especially in traditional business interactions and collaborations. We move through the world with an agenda, rushing down a path with blinders on, usually following someone waving a stick with the most dollars hanging off it.

We too often make choices based on popularity, followers, what will serve our self-interest or personal agenda, decisions based on what or who will make us the most money…. even if we have to swallow hard, bite our tongue, look away or abandon ourselves in the process.

Instead, Relational Equity means we value THE RELATIONSHIP more than the transaction. More than the deal. More than the dollar. The relationship is an evolving, fertile, abundant, changing, reciprocal living entity that is so much bigger and far-seeing than the way we’ve been operating. In business it means looking beyond “the dollar” and valuing the relationship and all the other valuable equity that comes from it: the opportunities, the introductions, the solidarity, the friendship, the mutual support, the affirmation, the authority… so many downstream, ever-widening ripples and positive effects.

This summer, I’m doubling-down on the RELATIONAL NATURE OF COLLABORATIONS. When I interview someone on my podcast or enroll someone in my programs, I’m not just thinking about featuring them in a single conversation or coaching them for an hour - I’m thinking what else can I offer them, how can I position them in alignment with their offerings and goals, what meaningful introductions can I make for them? In a transactional mindset, one collaboration or conversation is the end; in a relational mindset, it’s just the taster.

9 - I turned 50 this year, and I gotta say: It is awesome. It is the happiest I can ever recall being in life, and am so grateful to the many twists & turns, lessons & heartaches up until now... how well I deeply know myself now. However something else interesting happened — my ambition and ample zest (I’m a Sagittarius ascendant, I get excited about a lot of stuff - LOL) got completely and wholly re-directed.

I am way, way, way more excited about other people’s “success” than my own than ever before. I was at dinner with a new friend recently and at the end of it he said it was so fun watching my eyes while I was going on and on about my colleagues and all they are creating and how they are growing and becoming more confident. And it’s true! I get so much more lit up by others doing well now; their success is the greatest testimony of all and the most potent motivator and shaper of all my professional offerings.

In our Me-Me-Me culture, we’ve forgotten that one of the most fulfilling things we can do is focus on others. Help others. Invest in others. Mentor others. Serve as cautionary tales to others. (LOL.). I think so many older people in our present society feel as stuck and unhappy as they are simply because they do nothing for others, they resist the maturity of focusing on another. This summer, I’m really excited to pour lots of my energy into the nurturing, platforming and soaking up the yumminess derived from INVESTING IN THE SUCCESS & HAPPINESS OF OTHERS.

10 - Lastly, I am INVESTING IN FUN and PLAY and LAUGHTER. If you’ve been in groups or containers with me, you know: we love to laugh a lot. We cry and wonder, weep and ponder, too… but we also crack each other up. Life is not easy, life on Earth is actually really f*cking hard… and it’s so important we lighten our hearts with laughter together. It is true medicine.

Sometimes healing and learning and spiritual spaces can feel and be really heavy and serious, and that has its place for sure. After thirty years in the healing arts, I have grown so comfortable with the underworld, so familiar with grief, a dear friend to challenge, and in conversation with death that at times I have forgotten that the light - joy, love, laughter, silliness, absurdity, dancing and just idly messing around - is just as meaningful to our growth and healing. In fact, in the future, it might even be MORE meaningful to where we’re going!

I believe our unmitigated joy & happiness is one of the most powerful antidotes and superpowers in this age of transition — all of us each doing what we love while being in love with life itself, this might be the greatest revolution of all.
