As you Grow in Medicine Practice, the Medicine Grows Within You

We’ve welcomed an incredible diversity of healers in our Microdosing Facilitator Certification Program: Psychotherapists, Nurses, Health Coaches, Hypnotherapists, Counselors, Astrologers, Massage Therapists, Journey Facilitators, HR Directors, Community Leaders, Landscape Architects, Death Doulas, and so many more… Just as in the natural world, our diversity of practice makes us collectively stronger as an emerging field & profession.

While everyone’s backgrounds and life experiences are unique, they come together with a shared dedication to weaving the gifts of the natural world into service and desire to bring microdosing into their professional offerings. While everyone can expect to gain in the skills, resourcing, confidence and artistry to attain a capacity to support others, what is often most surprising is the realization of how much THEY have grown in the process themselves.

As you grow in your medicine practice, so, too, does the medicine grow within you.

Many of our program participants & graduates - already gifted & established clinicians and health professionals - remark how much better they are in every way when it comes to their connection with their clients.

“It’s so strange,” one astrologer told me - “After I began microdosing I could dial into my clients like THAT (snapping her fingers) — I’ve been doing this work for almost forty years and didn’t think I could get any better at it, but here we are!”

Another participant - a primary care physician - said her biggest takeaway from the microdosing program was the difference it made in her daily interactions and ability to connect with her patients authentically. Before microdosing, she shared she “had a very difficult time telling clients I didn’t know the answer.” After microdosing, though, she found herself surprised at the ease with which she was comfortable being vulnerable. “I’d tell them I don’t know what’s going on, but I am here with you, and we’re going to figure it out together.”

More psychotherapists than I can count (a lot!) have remarked how much of a difference their relationship with the medicine & microdosing has made in their psychotherapy sessions. “I took this program to learn how to microdose and support other people in their experiences, but it never occurred to me that it would make me so much better at being a therapist!” Many therapists have expressed a heightened ability to connect with their clients, to sense their energy, to drop in with them immediately. “While it used to take the first ten minutes or so of every session to warm up and connect… it’s like that is GONE now. It’s immediate. We just go straight in.”

And that’s the magic of the medicine. As we grow in our medicine practice, the medicine grows within us. Our ability to guide infuses everything we do; everything we do becomes stronger, clearer and more aligned for it. That is the beauty of earth medicine work, the beauty of Guideship. We don’t need to identify boxes, geographic limitations or academic prerequisites to contain this work because it touches and draws upon every part of us as human beings - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually - personally and professionally.

As I have grown in my Guideship - the more I devote myself to it - the medicine has grown in me beyond anything I thought possible. Many times today, holding space for groups or sessions with 1:1 clients, I can feel the presence of the medicine - hear the voice of my guide - teaching and guiding me how to guide. As professionals we bring all of us: our rich personal backgrounds, our academic training, our embodied arsenal of skills and modalities forward in service, but the medicine always meets us, matches us, and raises our abilities in ways we may not even begin to imagine just yet.

As we continue to grow, heal and transform, a silent invitation is offered to those around us to grow, heal and transform in reflection — and as professional healers, guides, therapists and way-showers, we go first. With each new portal, new journey, new depth of consciousness, new expansion of awareness, we bring that much more power to our role, our offerings and path we came here to walk.

Guideship doesn’t necessarily require us to become something different — Often it is an invitation to become even more of who we already are.
